‘Employment Tribunals are on the increase’

The last few years have seen an acceleration of these changes with the increasing influence and impact of European directives, and the Human Rights Act. This is likely to continue with the introduction of age discrimination legislation and flexible employment policies.

A noticeable emphasis is being placed on resolving employment issues and the ensuring greater involvement of employees in business issues – information and consultation being the theme.
